I did see “The Winter Soldier” as a “tragic” figure, but you can’t play that, you know. It’s not something that you can really use. Me as an outsider looking at a character like that I would say tragic, yes. Me as the actor kind of playing him, I saw him as a real viable threatening weapon. Somebody who just is almost operating from complete mechanical automatic ways of existing in life. He has very little trace of humanity left to him. And then somebody that essentially is starting to kind of feel things that he’s not — he hasn’t felt in a while. He doesn’t know why." - Sebastian Stan

Some followers suggested this to me.

The island known as the “island of madness”, “hell” and “the most haunted place on Earth” is being sold!

Here’s a quick, history behind it:

The plagued people were shipped off to Poveglia Island, a small, secluded land mass that floats between Venice and Lido. There, people lived out the last of their wretched lives together until they died.

Since the island already reeked of death, the next time an epidemic came along, barely alive bodies were dumped there and burned in mass graves.

In the 20s, a mental hospital was built to welcome the island’s newest “guests,” or anybody that showed symptoms of any sort of sickness, physical or mental.

Basically, if you had an itch, away you went to Poveglia where you’d sink your feet into the soil (half dirt, half human ash) and be in the company of over 100K diseased ghosts.

It didn’t help when the place was converted into a hospital for the mentally ill in 1922. Rumor has it, the hospital was home to a number of crude lobotomies, performed by a doctor who’d been driven mad by the ghosts. He later flung himself off the bell tower.

The Italian government is now offering a 99-year lease to whomever’s brave enough to take it over. The italian government thinks it would make a great hotel destination!

"Build a hotel" they said. "It will be fun" they said.

I rarely ever do this but she melts my heart. Poor little baby Hope was chained up, doused in kerosene and set on fire by her owner who has since been arrested. She may have some permanent eye damage but that is the least of her struggles. You can donate here to help with her medical expenses so she can receive the treatment she needs. Every little bit counts so even though they have surpassed their goal I still suggest you donate even a tiny amount. I have zero tolerance for people who hurt innocent animals they are just sick and disgusting. What could this precious little baby have done to deserve such a thing? All I can say is he will get his and I hope it’s just as painful for him as it is for her.

Who ever did this should burn in hell
